* Explosives, poisons, flammable items, radioactive material, compressed gas, corrosive, firearms and any item which by its nature of packing cause damage to other items or expose officers of SingPost to injury.
* Firecrackers
* Chewing gum
* Chewing tobacco and imitation tobacco products
* Cigarette lighters in shapes of pistols or revolvers
* Controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
* Pornography, obscene articles, publications, video tapes/discs and software
* Reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, digital video discs, laser discs, records or cassettes
* Seditious and treasonable materials
* Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
Any attempt of importing the above items into Singapore constitutes an offence. This list may be updated from time to time. Please refer to www.customs.gov.sg for the latest updated list.
