My Sifu who love tofu (kong Tong Shan)

Sifu Master Victor Chong has been practising martial arts for over 30 years. He took up Taekwondo in 1972 and began practising external Chinese arts like Shaolin Hung Gar from the following year. In 1985, he competed in China as a member of the first Singapore National Wushu Delegation.

In 1986, Master Chong was inducted into the study of the internal arts under the instruction of such luminaries as grandmasters Sha Guozheng, Ma Zhenbang, Chen Xiangling and Hu Baolin. He has since learnt from or practised with a multitude of top experts in Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, Chanmen Taiji and Dai Family Xinyiquan, including the famous (in alphabetical order):

* Grandmaster Gao Baodong, Shanxi
* Master Guo Jingang
* Master Li Yuanqi, Henan
* Grandmaster Meng Qingwei
* Grandmaster Song Guanghua, Shanxi
* Grandmaster Zhang Xigui, Shanxi

He still makes pilgrimages to China once or twice a year to keep up the standard of his skills.
