MANILA, Philippines – Three people were killed in Silang, Cavite when a delivery truck slammed into a coffee mill warehouse Wednesday midnight.
Authorities identified the victims as 40-year-old truck driver Felix Palencia, 26-year-old Zaldy Santonia, and a certain Franklin, believed to be the warehouse’s caretaker.
A witness said the driver of the speeding truck seemed to have lost control of the vehicle while traversing Aguinaldo Highway, hitting 2 Meralco posts before slamming into the warehouse.
Both Palencia and Santonia were instantly killed upon impact. Franklin, meanwhile, was pinned to death by the truck.
