Our additional member in our restaurant, brought it before they cook it. Over here Kilawing aso (dog) is considered a delicacy by some drinkers.
"Pag nagkakasarapan ng inuman, ng stainless, bilog, biglang may makikitang aso, masarap daw na pulutan [When they're having a drinking session, they might see a dog and catch it because they say it's a good dish to have while drinking],".
Incidentally, the eating of dog meat is not just limited to the provinces. One of the practices for preparing dogs for kilawin is to hang the dog upside down and blowtorch it to remove the fur. Those preparing the dog then cut the animal to small pieces suitable for kilawin.
Some cases of rabies deaths are due to such instances when the drinkers catch stray dogs. By the way, we DO NOT HAVE ANY DOG meat on our menu.Introduce our dog Tommy !!
