News Update 30 Batangas cops to undergo retraining

MANILA, Philippines – A total of 30 policemen from Batangas will start retraining today at the Philippine National Police training school in Clarkfield, Pampanga.

The policemen from the Tuy municipal police station in Batangas will undergo the police capability enhancement training in line with the directive of newly-installed PNP chief Director General Raul Bacalzo.

During his recent assumption of PNP head, Bacalzo announced the re-training and training of personnel, starting with his hometown in Tuy, Batangas.

Upon the completion of the training course, the police personnel, composed of two commissioned officers and 28 non-commissioned officers, will return to their respective units and reassume their former posts.

Police chief Superintendent Nicanor Bartolome, Calabarzon police director, said the refresher course will foster camaraderie and unity among the personnel and will strengthen their teamwork. - By Dennis Carcamo
