Mang Inasal (Tagalog for Mr. Inasal)

In Singapore if memory did not fail me I recall we do not have any branch of Mang Inasal however in Philippine Mang Inasal (Tagalog for Mr. Inasal) is one of the fastest growing food chains in the Philippines. Edgar Sia II, a filipino born entrepreneur of Chinese and Japanese heritage, engaged in business at twenty years of age. He opened the first branch in December 2003 at the Robinson's Mall Carpark-Iloilo. As of July 2009, Mang Inasal has 152 branches all over the Philippines.
The element that bear a distinctively Pinoy stamp-grilling with charcoal, rice wrapped in banana leaves, a marinade concocted out of local spices and herbs, bamboo sticks for skewers, and the ambience that encourages kinamot (the Ilonggo term in eating with the hands that bring back memory of eating Muthu Curry in Singapore) whenever chicken inasal is served.
