Just ask - Any local Coffee Chain in Philippine ?

Hi Marcelo when I heard that you from Brazil my favorite game football came into my mind,  however basketball is a very popular sport in the Philippines.. Every corner you turn you bound to find a basket ball court just a stone throw away like coffee in Brazil

In Philippine they have are  few  highly successful chain of cafes in the Philippines like Figaro Coffee, with 62 or more outlets in the Philippines against the 106 of market leader Starbucks, they already has shops in China. Their local expansion, are fuel by their franchising the first flagship Figaro Coffee store formally opened in November 1993 in Manila's upscale Makati district  just a simple kiosk located in one of Manila's premiere malls. Originally, Figaro offered a selection of specialty coffees from around the world, always freshly brewed, as well as a variety of coffee and tea paraphernalia. The seven friends managed the Coffee Store themselves, serving their customers personally with a homely touch, and impart knowledge of how to brew and enjoy their own coffee at home. This kind of personalised service create a royalty customers, generating a devout following of deeply serious coffee drinkers.

In the 60 Philippines used to be the third largest exporter of coffee but due to the price drop of coffee, farmers shifted to other plantations, the country is now one of the biggest importers of coffee beans.

In Singapore export is the main source of revenue for the Singapore’s economy. Singapore relays on purchasing raw goods and refining them for re-export. Singapore's principal exports are petroleum products, food, chemicals, textile and electronic components. Singapore's imports machinery and equipment, mineral fuels, chemicals and foodstuffs. Parts of parcel of launching and selling a product successful I personally "believed when In Rome do what a the Roman do" and some fine tuning along the way. If you speak their language that will more or less foster client's trust and confidence is the key for successful business by having continuous communications, exchanging knowledge, providing good support and understanding our clients' needs. When I was in China , Coffee is gaining popularities I guess will be another big market. Hope that help. Cheers
