Hi Francis they call it revenue collection here like for example when we operate our business the basic setup, we need to pay were Mayor permit, DTI (Department of Trade and Industries) permit and BRI (Bureau of Internal Revenue) permit. Only recent year, they had started the e-filing and e-register online. Derived from past experienced whatever transaction you have done officially remembered to keep those official receipt.

In Gamu some of the best practise project spearheaded by the Mayor Luisito Cumigad, Municipal Administrator and Hon. Dante Martinez, SB Member shared their expertise in increasing the revenues of the town when they guested PIA's Tipon-Tipan Program recently. Martinez said through the strong political will of Hon. Mayor Fernando Cumigad, local officials were able to revise their municipal revenue code to be able to formulate a serious implementation of tax collection in business permits and real property taxes.
He said they launched task force candor, a pilot project to look for other taxable items such as; households, businesses, real property and etc.
The LGU officials also came up with a resolution regarding the processing of residential and agricultural land titles through the help of an Inter-Agency Patend Task Force led by Department of Agriculture and Land Registration Authority.
Two months after the implementation of the titling program, about 2,000 land titles were processed and given to the owners. This provided a strong social economic capability for the constituents because they were able to put up their own businesses.
Mr. Cumigad also said that through their information campaign strategy, the people became aware of their obligation to help in the economic development of the town.
He added that Mayor Cumigad issued an Executive Order to all employees and officials to be role models in the campaign to pay their taxes on time.
The municipality also imposed the amount of P800 for the processing of land titles. However, for those who can't afford, Governor Padaca and Congressman Uy of District 2 have extended their financial support for this special project.
Cumigad and Martinez likewise revealed that the municipality's revenues increased from P75,000 to P3 million.
This in turn was spent for the benefit of the people through the Gamu Memorial Assistance Program (GMAP) especially for indigent families, health services and infrastructure project.
