News Update Pryce Gases Inc. introduces LPG-powered vehicles

PRYCE Gases Inc. launched Tuesday its answer to the seemingly "unstoppable and uncontrollable" prices of petroleum products, the LPG-powered vehicles.

In cooperation with David Motor Trading and Renewable Energy Development Corporation and the Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators Sa Pilipinas Inc. (LTOP), Pryce Gases made public a liquefied petroleum gas-powered engine for public utility vehicles.

Rafael Escaño, president of Pryce Gases, said the Hyundai Theta 2.4 brand new LPG engine (2.4L) helps drivers save up to 30 percent versus the traditional diesel-based engine consumption.

"This is 100 percent LPG-fueled engine. It can be guaranteed that drivers will definitely save a lot in using LPG of around P10.50 per liter against the diesel," Escaño said, as he introduces the foreign-made machine to local jeep body manufacturers.
