Like most of us  who had this misconception that canned food isn't fresh, food should be fresh as it can get. I had always used to walk straight past canned sea food in the supermarket, However, something caught my eye today  smoke oyster in the shelf and I just simply curious just how were the oyster will able to stand up to fresh oyster. What a surprised ! when I  open the canned the oyster was about an inch in size quite a healthy and generous serving of 14 oyster. The canned Oysters have a clean ocean smell never buy oysters with an odor. Similarly the oyster meats are cream to light brown with ruffled edges and a silky texture.
