In philippine they simply love it sweet, the sweeter the better. Therefore,Leche Flan takes its name from the Pinoy (or Filipino) street slang which means 'eat hastily' or 'devour food' or simply, food. It mainly make up of ingredient like egg yolk, carnation milk and sugar, no surprising it taste sweet, by garnished with cherry I guess it give an overall appeasing appeal for those who carve for sugar high!
