Exotic Food Abalin or Fried Beetle Grub


Imagine the challenge of putting one this little creepy grub in your mouth, the grubs had a pleasant taste combined with a very chewy texture. In some ways, they were similar in taste to that rubbery thing that you find in chicken legs. Anyway, it took me close to two minutes of chewing the grub before I was able to swallow it.
The abalin were usually fried with a dash of vingear, pepper, and oil and serve well with beer. No wonder is a "pulutan" delicacy. To take it one step further, we create the abalin fried egg omelette protein powerhouse. Lol
