News Update Lawyer Lozano son kidnapped

ANILA- A son of lawyer Oliver Lozano has been kidnapped by unidentified men who posed as car buyers, his family said Sunday.

Emerson Lozano was abducted on January 12 at a gas station along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

Lozano's companion, Ernanie Sensil, was found dead the next day in Tarlac province.

He had a bullet hole in the head and his remains were burned, police said.

Authorities are now checking whether a charred body found in Porac, Pampanga belongs to Lozano.

Police Officer 1 Niño Mallari of the Porac police said Lozano's dental records matched with that of the cadaver.

Police, however, have yet to release an official report.

Authorities are eyeing a syndicate behind the killings.

A car dealer, Arsenio Boy Evangelist, is also asking for help in locating his son who was abducted by people also posing as car buyers.

Authorities are now advising the public to be wary of this group. – Reports from Gretchen Malalad
