News Update 2 informers get reward

CAMP GEN. VICENTE LIM, Laguna - Two civilian informers received Tuesday a total of P340,000 reward money from the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the capture of wanted personalities in Quezon. Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao Jr., Police Regional Office (PRO) 4-A director, said the two tipsters received monetary reward after giving information for the whereabouts of the region's most wanted criminals. The first informant received a total of P140, 000 for providing information on Ariel Hernandez who was nabbed last October. He was the region's most wanted man for cases of robbery and double homicide. The second tipster was given P200,000 for the arrest of ex-Barangay Captain Andres Mendoza last November in Tanauan City. Mendoza is the primary suspect for the killing of Tiaong Mayor Marcial Punzalan Sr. and his bodyguard in 1986.
