MAKATI CITY, Philippines – A 62-year-old Dutch fell to his death from a Makati building on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The victim, George Muller, fell from his 16th-floor condominium in the Ritz Tower along Ayala Avenue around 1 p.m.
His family believes that Muller killed himself, according to Makati investigator Police Officer 3 Ador Robres
He was alone in the condo during the incident.
According to house helpers, Muller started drinking by his lonesome early in the morning.
His family also revealed that they've been having problems, which contributed to his drinking.
The retired businessman is survived by his 3 children and wife of 28 years.
The family refused to give an interview.
