Kopi Talk It's good to be in South Forbes

MANILA, Philippines - With exactly one month before, as Andy Williams very well put it, “the most wonderful time of the year,” the season of giving, it is always good to look back on the past year and count our blessings.
In a place like South Forbes Golf City, the country’s largest fully-integrated and all-themed golf resort city at the forefront of the Metro Sta. Rosa – Tagaytay corridor, residents would have a lot of blessings to count.
The keystone. The New Urbanist master planning of South Forbes is what keeps the 5 Clusters of Excellence together through globally-accepted walkable districts. Through this, there is a reduction in the dependency of automobiles and a conscious preservation of critical lands. South Forbes is intended to be a sustainable and pedestrian-friendly city.
A roof over our head. It’s not just a basic necessity in South Forbes. The Residential Cluster is composed of several internationally-themed enclaves which highlight the culture of a chosen city and brought to reality through homes and featured amenities.
The first of many is the quaint Mediterranean Villas where Spanish-inspired villas fill a community reminiscent of the Iberian coast. Other Western-themed enclaves include the chic Miami and the sleek Scandia Suites.
Completed this year is Châteaux de Paris where homes recall of palaces along cobblestoned streets complete with flowering gardens. Similarly but modernized are chateaus designed to suit many a preference: Chambord, Chantilly, Fontainebleau, Rambouillet, Louvre, Clermont, and Lafayette. The enclave boasts of its six themed gardens reminiscent of the French capital and the grand clubhouse at the end of the main avenue which has become the perfect setting of balls and soirees.
The Oriental touch is alive, too, in South Forbes through its walled Asian community, The Mansions. Three enclaves belong to this neighborhood: the warm Bali Mansions, the tranquil Tokyo Mansions, and the tropical Phuket Mansions. And just beyond The Mansions gate is South Forbes’ most prestigious developments: the soaring Sentosa Heights enclave and the Golf View Terraces where their residents enjoy the coveted golf course view from their balconies.
Friends and neighbors. Filipinos, with their families or friends, love spending their leisure time shopping at the malls, eating at the latest restaurants, or watching movies. The retail, dining, social, and cultural hub of South Forbes is its City Center where residents can wine-and-dine or shop-‘til-you-drop in its many establishments.
A brilliant mind. Intelligence and talents are a great gift and what better way to serve the greater good than to nurture and develop these. Presently, South Forbes’s Education Cluster is home to the Learning Links Academy of Sta. Rosa which offers pre-school to secondary levels and with a day care center to boot. The recently-opened South Forbes City Colleges, in partnership with Global City Innovative Colleges, has modern facilities equipped with fiber optic connectivity to insure that the future potential applicants and enrollees will be educated and trained on an international standard.
Prosperity. For a lot of people, having work and keeping it is a miracle. The Cyberpark, the heart of South Forbes’ Business Cluster, will feature world-class, built-to-specification buildings suited for BPOs and other businesses. With all these within easy walking or traveling distance from every home, parents and children will share more quality family time together.
A comfortable life. The Astoria Plaza - South Forbes Business Hotel and Conference Center which houses the spa and specialist clinics to serve the wellness requirements of the young, adult, and even the retirees from here and abroad, spells ultimate relaxation for the weary.
The prime leisure amenity is the world-class 18-hole South Forbes Golf Club designed by Asia’s leading golf course designer, the International Management Group (IMG).
