Class95cafe Lemak Rice




I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of (http://www.nfa.gov.ph) rice in Philippines and ingredients it's got the best fresh coconut or "Katas ng Niyog" and which I've had a hard time finding in Singapore.
In Gamu almost everything i
s home grown, located proximity near most of the farms, almost everything is freshy picked, right from mother nature to the consumer. Typical in the morning, some of the farmers would "hawk" their items to us. It can be fresh vegetables, fishes, garlic, onion that grown in their backyard or farm. This morning we brought some "Tilapia" fish or known as water river fish. When she sold it to us I caught a gleam of the fish still grasping for breath. Although, the ikan bilis or " Dilis" (fried anchovies with peanuts" texture is much plainer version however is still within the range of nasi lemak offerings.
Perhaps the only thing missing is a solid sambal (a ground chili sa
uce) with is optional serving in my menu . The local would find it hard to stomach the spicy version in Singapore or Malaysia. Belacan sambal is totally unheard of in Gamu. However, don't get me wrong, they have their own version of hot "mahanggang silinglabuyo" or wild chili which the locals grow in their backyard.

Nasi lemak is sentimental dish because it was what my parent used to sell when we were back in Singapore. Recently, there is a gentle stream of customers who seem to know just what they want. They would ordered the fried chicken wings, the crispy ikan bilis and eggs or "Galunggong isda"....Most commented " The rice itself have a good taste of coconut milk that being seduced by the sensation smell of fresh coconut fragrant rice. The Class95cafe Lemak rice come with Chicken Wing or "Galunggong isda" selling at P40.00 only.
