MANILA, Philippines – A security guard has been added to the hundreds of individuals arrested in relation to the nationwide gun ban.
Police nabbed Joseph Peregrino, 34, a stay-in security guard at San Antonio Memorial Park in Brgy. Bulilan Norte, Pila, Laguna.
Senior Superintendent Lito Labado, Laguna provincial police director, said local policemen have been conducting an operation in line with the Commission on Elections-imposed gun ban inside the EMS Videoke Bar around 1:30 a.m. when they caught Peregrino with a cal.38 revolver with two live bullets.
