News Update 8 die of dengue in Rizal this year, 387 cases recorded

RIZAL PNP - At least 8 people died of dengue cases in Rizal this year. This number is lower than the cases recorded in the same period last year. This was bared Wednesday by Rizal Governor Junjun Ynares III as he appealed to the public to keep maintaining their surroundings clean to avoid this kind of disease. Governor Ynares said that for the period of January to August 2010, seven of the eight people who reportedly died of dengue came from Antipolo City while one died in Cainta. A total of 387 cases of dengue was reported in Rizal province this year. This number is lower compared to the 841 cases recorded in the same period last year. The highest number of cases came from Antipolo, 98, followed by Rodriguez with 96 cases.
