PH's new warship arrives
The government has acquired the BRP Gregorio del Pilar, a warship named after a young Filipino hero. It was first docked at the South Harbor in Manila after sailing for 33-days from the U.S. to the Philippines. This is the country's first Hamilton class cutter warship. Its machines were overhauled and refurbished and officially replaces the Raja Humabon, a Cannon-class destroyer escort. (Photos by Mike Alquinto/ NPPA Images
