Kopi Talk TAXIS are a staple in the life of a Singaporean

TAXIS are a staple in the life of a Singaporean. This dependence is well known and fact, taxi companies have been increasing their fleet size in the recent years. At the same time, taxi companies have also increased their base fares. However, have taxi companies also upped their service standards? STOMPers do not think so.

An unhappy STOMPer Super Commuter boarded a Premier cab at Changi Airport and told the taxi driver in which route to take. The taxi driver insisted on his own route and verbally abused STOMPer Super Commuter.

Clearly, cabbies are getting personal. However, all hope is not lost yet. STOMPer ultratrex was lucky to be served by a very civic minded Citicab driver who drove back all the way to the STOMPer's alighting point to return him in balance change of $30 and profusely apologised for the mistake in handing out change.

STOMPers cheered and jeered taxi drivers for their service standards. registered an 'enraged' vote on Stomp's mood meter for the Premier cab drivers. On the other hand, STOMPer madicine gave a thumbs up for the Citicab driver.
