News Update Aetos guard found dead

AN AUXILIARY guard at Changi Prison was found dead with a gunshot wound through his mouth on Monday morning at a watch tower in the prison compounds.
The 24-year-old Malaysian, who worked for Aetos, was armed with an MP5 pistol, reported Shin Min Daily News.
He was alone on duty at the watch tower when he was believed to have shot himself. He died on the spot.
His colleague who was waiting for him to finish his shift, went to look for him in the watch tower after he did not come down after his shift was over. He found him slumped on the floor, with a gaping hole in his neck where the bullet had emerged.
Shin Min said the guard was dead for hours before he was found.
This the second Aetos auxiliary police officer to have died of gunshot in just over two months. In June, a 39-year-old Lee Kong Beng was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in the toilet of a building in Jurong.
