BAGUIO CITY - A Manila-based non-government organization (NGO) has cited the thousands of taxi drivers in this mountain resort city as probably the most honest and courteous public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in the country.
Daniel Dulnuan, chairman of the People Against Trade Abuses and Scams (PATAS), handed over to Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan its first plaque of recognition to taxi drivers in the city for their exemplary behaviour in dealing with their passengers.
The pro-people and pro-consumer group cited in particular drivers return the change of their passengers up to the last centavo, which should be emulated by other public utility drivers in the different parts of the country.
