PRIVATE colleges in Eastern Visayas will not ask for tuition increase for the incoming school year, said Edward Chua, president of the Association of Private Colleges in Easter Visayas.
Chua said the difficult economic situation is the main reason why they decided not to implement tuition increase among private schools this year.
“We have also to understand and help the parents of our students. And in our case, we have not raised our tuition fee for about five years now,” Chua, who is also president of the Asian Development Foundation College in Tacloban City, said.
