MANILA, Philippines – A businessman has been kidnapped by four armed men in Quezon City yesterday, police said.
Belated reports reaching Camp Crame showed that Jonathan Chua of Cycle Mass Marketing was forcibly taken by the suspects, all wearing shirts bearing "police," while driving his car along Judge Luna St. corner De Jesus St., Brgy. Bunga, around 8:45 a.m. yesterday.
The suspects reportedly blocked Chua's car using getaway vehicle (ZMC-216), then dragged the victim at gunpoint.
A check with the Land Transportation Office showed that the license plate on the suspects' vehicle was registered in 2008 to an Isuzu car. - By Dennis Carcamo (Philstar News Service, www.philstar.com)
