A 26-YEAR-OLD man sodomised a 13-year-old boy after getting to know him through the SG Boys website.
Some three weeks earlier in early August 2008, the secondary school student had performed oral sex on the freelance film director in his car.
Alex Fong Guo Yuan was jailed three years on Thursday. District Judge Hamidah Ibrahim noted the young age of the victim. She had also heard that Fong had a sexually transmitted disease when he had unprotected sex with the minor.
The boy, who cannot be named as he is a minor, went to the police on Sept 17 2008. Investigations then revealed that after chatting online about oral and anal sex, Fong arranged to meet the boy at the Geylang East swimming complex sometime before National Day. They then went to a multi-storey car park in Aljunied Avenue 2 where the boy performed oral sex in Fong's car.
They met again on Aug 27 when Fong picked the boy at his school. In a hotel room in Geylang, they had anal sex.

A medical examination on Fong on Sept 24 indicated that Fong had chlamydia urethritis - a sexually transmitted disease that can make passing urine painful. The court was not told if Fong, who did not use a condom when with the boy, was aware that he had this disease.
