A POLICE national serviceman (NSman) was charged in a district court on Monday for acting rashly with his Taurus revolver.
Special constable Sulaiman Perwira, 21, is said to have pointed the gun at three of his colleagues and letting off a shot.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at the Transport Command base at Paya Lebar Road at 3pm on Feb 22 this year.
Sulaiman is accused of committing a rash act that endangered the personal safety of the trio.
Looking embarrassed by the proceedings, the 1.7m tall constable was in court with his mother. He is to appear in court again on Sept 14.
The maximum punishment he faces is a fine of $2,500 and a six-month jail term.
