ZAMBOANGA CITY – Gunmen freed two of the three men abducted Wednesday morning in Lanao del Norte province, the military said.
Western Mindanao Command spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Randolph Cabangbang said Edgar Gomez and Boyet Alumbro, an engineer, were freed an hour after they were seized on Wednesday.
Gomez and Alumbro, along with one Alexander Lim, were seized around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the village of Samboron, Linamon village, Lanao del Norte.
Lim, however, remains with his captors and his location remains unknown.
