MANILA (Updated) -- Weather forecasters on Thursday said Tropical Depression "Dodong" will continue to bring moderate to heavy rains as it moves farther out into the South China Sea.
As of 11 p.m. Thursday, public storm warning signal no. 1 remains over Pangasinan province.
Storm warning signal in six other provinces, including Metro Manila, on Thursday has been lowered, prompting school officials in the capital to announce the resumption of classes by Friday.
On Thursday night, Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that "Dodong" has maintained its strength as it moves west of Dagupan City.
