News Update 5 private HS students rob accountant

MANILA, Philippines - Five boys, all students of private high schools, were arrested after they allegedly robbed an accountant in Quezon City Thursday night.
Anthony King Lozano, 28, a resident of Antipolo City, said he met two of the boys at past 7 p.m. at a mall in Cubao to sell them cell phone load cards. The two told him they would be meeting with other persons who would be interested in the items.
The supposed buyers did not appear and Lozano and the two boys went home. While they were walking along Scout Fernandez street in Barangay Sacred Heart at past 9 p.m., three teenage boys – all wearing hoods – robbed him at knifepoint and boarded a black multi-cab (XPN-967) driven by an accomplice.
Lozano flagged down a police patrol team, who pursued the boys and caught them at the Mabuhay Rotunda.
Lozano identified three of the boys as the ones who robbed him. The two boys who accompanied Lozano were also taken into custody after police officers found out that they are classmates of the three robbery suspects.
Police Officer 2 Jogene Hernandez said all five suspects, aged 15 to 16, are third year students at two private schools.
Lawmen recovered Lozano’s iPhone and iPad from the suspects, but the P10,000 reportedly taken from him remains missing. They also seized a screwdriver, two bread knives and two bonnets from the boys. - By Reinir Padua
