Just Ask Is Philippine property a good investment

Hi Boon Eng unlike Singapore Philippine had plenty of land. Whereas much of the world is in shock with last year real estate situation in many countries, the real estate market in the Philippines is quietly chugging along. Recent reports in popular Philippine newspapers have somehow the Philippine property boom is still active and alive. One factor I realized is quite uniquely Philippine is that the overseas Pinoy who are working aboard have their eyes set on investing in their home country in a big way from apartment, padi field, farm land, hotel and many other by taking advantages of the currency conversion.

Another contributing factor is the bond of the family is very strong. This is because it is quite expensive for a typical Filipino family or single person, starting a new life in the city, to rent, build, or purchase a home right away. It is much easier for a family to construct a dwelling made of light materials such as bamboo and other natural plants that are freely available in a barrio setting. Therefore, if one of the family working oversea consider it their duty to provide a decent roof for the family that I believed fuel much of the property market trend demand.
