THE SM City Rosales management on Saturday paid tribute to the oldest mother in Rosales, Pangasinan.
SM honored 101-year-old Lucresia Tiletile-Tamin, who is still strong at her age, with family and friends led by her eldest son Arcadio.
Tamin was born on February 13, 1910. She has six children. The eldest son Arcadio is the current president of the Senior Citizens Association of Rosales. She separately lives in a house next to Arcadio's.
Arcadio, now 66 years old, thanked her mother for taking care of them.
He said their father died when he was 12 years old. Although they did not finish college, she provided all their needs. Proof of her being a good mother is that none of them got involved or addicted to drugs or alcohol because of her guidance.
