kopi talk Ecowarriors Bats For Environmental Protection

MANILA, Philippines - He may not be a legislator anymore, but it doesn't mean former Sen. Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri is doing nothing these days. Far from it. He now spends his time with another equally worthwhile endeavor as environmentalist.
Just recently, Migz presided over a press conference held at Imperial Palace Suites to announce the existence of Pilipinas Ecowarriors and its programs. With the former senator in Pilipinas Ecowarriors are basketball and TV celebrity Chris Tiu, popular singer/artist Rico Blanco and "Born to Be Wild" host and toprated veterinarian Doc Nielsen Donato who are all convenors of the organization along with wildlife conservationalist Indira Lacerna-Widmann of the Katala Foundation which is based in Palawan.
Pilipinas Ecowarriors, a non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, is set to be launched formally through a free concert on March 16, 2012.
Migz said, "We will partner up with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and we will be the eyes and ears of the agency on the ground. Our members and volunteers will give us information, photos and videos of violations of our environmental laws, they can upload it on our website and facebook page, and we in the head office will process such incidents and pass it on to the DENR and other government agencies for proper action.
Gerald Anderson Exposes Inner Fashionista
Celebrating its 10th year in the fashion industry, Mint joined the Philippine Fashion Week this year to showcase its latest collection and launched Gerald Anderson and Xian Lim as endorsers.
In the last four years, celebrity endorsers like Cristine Reyes and Jericho Rosales have helped Mint achieve success. The owners, Stella and Jopet Sy are very hands on with their advertising campaigns to create a unique style for Mint.
Mint presently has 34 stores but it will have 40 company-owned stores before the year ends. To make their presence felt in the provinces, they have opened their doors for franchising which will expand their brand in the northern part of Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.
Dimples, Diana Stadler's Newest Endorser
Diana Stadler has expanded its services in taking care of the beauty needs of Filipinas by opening skin care centers around the metropolis. Just recently, Diana Stadler added to their stellar list of endorsers drama actress Dimples Romana.
The Kapamilya star inked a two-year contract to be another face of 15-year-old company Diana Stadler Skin Care Center. Diana said Dimples is a perfect choice to represent the young, hard-working Filipina.
Dimples said, "People say the body starts aging at the age of 25, I'm 27 now so I have to think long-term specially with our job, laging exposed to the lights, dust, etc."
Diana Stalder has 22 skin care branches all over the country.
