News Update PHL consul general warns vs old websites

After launching its new website, the Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou, China cautioned the public against being misled by the contents of two of its “former” Web addresses.
In a news release posted on the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) website, the Consulate General said its new website is www.philcongenguangzhou.org.
“Having severed its relations with the past website administrators, the Consulate no longer has control over the contents of those websites as the last one has regrettably been hacked recently,” it said.
The Consulate identified the two previous websites as:
www.pcggz.bizhosting.com, which still uses White Swan Hotel as the Consulate address www.guangzhoupcg.org.
“To open the correct and updated website, the Consulate strongly recommends that the new website address is directly typed,” the Consulate General advised.
For more information, the public can call the Consulate at telephone numbers +8620-8331-1461 or 8331-0996.
