Kopi talk - Drought in Gamu Isabela

In Gamu Isabela the province had experiencing the impact of El Niño – the unusual warming of surface water at the Pacific Ocean that causes drought, had greatly effect the farming activities here. In the afternoon particularly between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m the temperature can be range between 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. However, when come to morning the cloudless sky at night allows heat accumulated in the day to escape without restraint, resulting in cold early morning temperatures plunging to 23 or 21 degrees Celsius.

In Philippine what's happening is that they have cloudless sky at night. That is why earth's radiation or heat from the sun is not trapped and goes freely unlike in Singapore we have cloud all day and night the fluctuation can be a minimum. The weather bureau so far recorded the hottest day of the year in Metro Manila last March 6 with a temperature of 35.8

Because of the drought it also significantly affected the water resource for power and irrigation supply over the affected areas in Luzon, yesterday afternoon the pump was working but no water, we have to wait this morning for the well to resume flow. Gone are the days when in Singapore I just turn on the tap and water flow. However, the local hardware store selling water pump, generator  and water storage tank had been enjoying brisk business like saying goes "The misfortune of some are at time the fortune others" Any manufacturer supplier who are dealing with generator, deep well pump, or anything that generate water equipment will be good timely business entry now.
