News Update 774 Cavite Farmers Get Land

Many farmers in Cavite now have a land that they can say their own. Just over the weekend, some 774 farmers and their families have received certificates of ownership for the lands that they till in the province in the last decade. Governor Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla Jr. handed the certificates of land titles for the 774 out of 1,200 beneficiaries during a simple ceremony at Rolle Hall of Cavite State University in Barangay Bancod, Indang, Cavite. The titles are proofs that the farmers are now owners of the lands that they have been tilling in the area for the past 10 years or more. The awarded farmlands are in upland towns of Indang, Maragondon, Magallanes, and the lowland Bacoor and Imus districts. Officials said the other beneficiaries have yet to be notified about the awarding of the title certificates.
