A FORMER Singapore Land Authority manager, Lim Chai Meng, 37, accused of cheating the government of $11.8 million, was slapped with 27 more charges on Wednesday.
He faces 26 charges of either concealing, converting or transferring the proceeds of his ill-gotten gains into the purchase of five cars, two properties, three watches and unit trusts.
He is also said to have deposited almost $280,000 into the bank accounts of his family members, including his three three children, and transferred money into his bank accounts.
He was remanded for another week pending further investigation.
