Three Filipinos showed the world what the Pinoy youth could do by graduating with honors from the Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, radio dzBB reported Sunday.
The new graduates were Frances Raquel Narvaez, who earned a BA in Psychology and a minor in Media Communications. Her brother, Robert William Narvaez, gained a BA in International Relations, with emphasis on Refugee Studies, and a minor in French and Computer Science.
Obed Pantoja, on the other hand, earned a BS in Finance.
They also received honors from their respective departments, radio dzBB said.
Desiree Montecillo Narvaez, the mother of Frances and Robert, said that her children’s successes brought honor not only to her, but to the Philippines.
The proud mother said she hoped this development would pave the way for more young Filipinos pursuing their dreams, so that the world would know what Filipinos are capable of where ever they may be. —Carmel G. Lapeña/VS
