News Update New P4.8-M Camiguin police station set up

MAMBAJAO, Camiguin Province, Philippines - A new municipal police station worth P4.8 million was inaugurated at Mahinog town, Camiguin province, it was learned Sunday. The new Mahinog station is beside the municipal hall of Mahinog town. Top police officials of Eastern Mindanao Director for Integrated Police Operation (EM-DIPO) Chief Supt. Victorino S. Panganiban and Northern Mindanao Police Regional Office 10 (PRO 10) regional director Chief Supt. Conrado E. Laza led the PNP in the inauguration and handover ceremony last Wednesday. Mahinog Mayor Alex R. Jajalla and Camiguin Police Provincial Director Senior Supt. Edward S. Abejuela also graced the inauguration. Senior Supt. Celso G. Regencia, Chief of PRO 10 Logistic Development Division also formally turned over the documents of the three-storey model police station building to Mahinog Chief of Police Inspector Edgar S. Anonoy in a ceremony held at the rooftop of the new building. The new building will house the administrative, investigation, police community relations and operations department. (Mike U. Crismundo)
