IT'S finally confirmed - Singapore will go into space next month when the Republic launches its first locally made satellite.
The X-Sat, a refrigerator-sized micro-satellite designed and built from scratch here, is set to launch at the end of next month, confirmed the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), although it did not reveal the date.
