One of my friend in the Singapore Red Cross send me the information and suggest that I should feature some of the Charity project done by the Singapore Red Cross Society which has sent out 3,200 water purification sets to the Philippines National Red Cross (PNRC) to provide clean water for the survivors of the flood. In times of disaster where drinkable water is hard to find, these sets can be used to filter up to 500 liters of water from any available source of the moment such as rivers, drains and flood water. All it takes is a simple three minute process which involves using the hand held pump to convert muddy water to being clean and drinkable, without having to be boiled. Thanks Allen for the suggestion. By the way, as for the donation mentioned here I do not know whether is still valid or on going project for those interested can direct your inquiry to Singapore Red Cross.
