By Shivali Nayak, Multimedia Journalist

Cherlyn Lee is only in kindergarten, but she holds the record for the fastest ten-digit addition in Singapore.

The spunky 6-year-old was one of 545 children taking part in the 3rd CMA Mental Arithmetic Olympia, where kids from as young as 3-years-old were tested on speed and accuracy in adding up a series of ten-digit numbers.

Adults were startled and impressed at how tough the sums were, and how kids as young as Cherlyn were able to get them right.
