So when one of my friend visit Manila I took the opportunity and we decided to checked in Hotel 878 . The first expression count as the bedroom suite is neat and clean and it also double as receiving area and a dining space. Beside the rate is quite sensible and economical. Furthermore, what I enjoy most is the unlimited free internet all day, very rare nowadays for budget hotel.

The area of Libis in Quezon City has progressively gained a reputation as the yuppie ghetto frequented by corporate and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) employees spilling out of the nearby offices and skyscrapers in Eastwood City. The hotel has a total of 71 rooms which consists of 29 deluxe rooms, 40 two-level lofts, and two suites. The rooms’ orange-painted walls give life and vibrancy to the hotel’s earth-toned interior spaces complemented with furniture pieces crafted by Filipino artisans as well as ornaments that imbibe the contemporary Asian philosophy of structure and simplicity.
“We wanted to have a fresh design to attract the young market and since the people who frequent the area are from the BPOs and corporate firms, we created an environment that looks simple yet very elegant,” said Cristina Espiritu, Sales and Marketing Manager.
But aside from being the first hotel in Libis, Hotel 878 provides basic necessities and amenities required by regular travelers and clients at very sensible and economical rates.
“We strive to give our guests added value for their money. For standard rates that range from P2,500 to P3,300, guests can enjoy comfortable spaces plus a unique level of service provided by our staff,” said Golamco.
