Just Ask Is vandalism serious crime in Singapore ?

Hi Jenny Tumaneng to be clear that Philippine or any countries also had some rule and regulation about vandalism of Public property but whether they fully enforced or dealt with severely by the government is another issues. Naturally, Philippine with has experienced numerous bombings, corruption and other attacks against civilians in recent years, and that the government has a strong and legitimate interest in prosecuting persons suspected of plotting mass violence they might have their hand and resources full in counter terrorism so vandalism crime might look pale in comparison to all this ongoing issue.

In peaceful society like Singapore such vandalism in the MRT can be a sort of sensational news and create center stage focus by the people and government and generated many mixed positive and negative reaction from the public, government and net citizen alike, some commented that in Singapore they cannot allow, especially foreigners, to come in and spread their vile mischief of graffiti. Others commented that it does not make economic sense to begin to extradite them back to Singapore. Simply don't allow them in ever or even stop them from even passing through Singapore the next time.

Meanwhile..the following blog..makes interesting reading.
Think what you may, but the writer does have a point.
Quote from http://hardhitting-nobs.blogspot.com/

“Yes, Singapore is going to extradite a man for vandalism! People in Indonesia must be laughing their guts out when they hear this. There are over 10 Indonesian millionaires currently living in Singapore who are wanted by Indonesia for various corruption charges but Singapore has constantly refused to extradite them back to Indonesia.
Now Singapore wants to extradite a man from Hong Kong for vandalism!
Is vandalism more serious than corruption? In Singapore, that seems to be the case.
Who says Singapore does not have a sense of humor?”
