SISON, Pangasinan — Three vintage bombs were safely dislodged from the ground in Barangay Bila, here, after residents reported finding them in their neighborhood the other day.

Elements of the Firearms and Explosives Branch of the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) handled the recovery of the World War II bombs.

Barangay Councilman George Aglabatin, 55, said he was digging a hole in his farmland when he struck a metal object bulging from the ground.

“At first, I thought it was a hidden treasure. I got excited but when I noticed that it looked more like a bomb, I called in police,” Aglabatin said.
