BACOLOD CITY (PNA) - The Mga Kristiyanong Pamilya para kay Noynoy (Makipinoy), a volunteer organization that actively campaigned for President-elect Benigno Simeon Aquino, III during the May 10 election said that they will help him in his anti-corruption advocacy.

Atty. Inocencio Ferrer, Jr., of Makipinoy said that their volunteer organization is keen on helping in the anti-corruption advocacy of the Aquino administration.

Atty. Ferrer was with fellow Makipinoy volunteers Erick Fernandez and Cristina de Asis in joining President-elect Aquino's sisters who visited Bacolod City recently.

Pinky Aquino-Abellada and Ballsy Aquino-Cruz led the distribution of free school bags and school supplies to elementary pupils of the EB Magalona Central School. They were assisted by actor Coco Martin.

Another sister of the President-elect's popular showbiz personality and film actress, Kris Aquino-Yap, was not able to come for the distribution. The actress, during the campaign period promised to distribute school supplies to children in areas where her brother garnered a big number of votes.

The Aquino sisters were also joined by Negros Occidental Congressman-elect Albee Bantug Benitez and other local officials.

The giving of free school supplies was a simple gesture of gratitude by the Aquino family for the overwhelming support of the Negrenses for their brother

Around 184 students received school bags and other school supplies from the Aquino sisters.
